I’m always excited to receive an inquiry from a referral. Just was the case from Shawn + Eddie. Shawn’s mother moved to Hawaii several years ago and she had a dream of marrying on her farm up in Kahaluu. It was the perfect location with its vast green lawn and the Ko’olau’s in the background just added to the majestic day we had!

Family is the basis of everything. It’s who we are made up from. It’s who we reunite with in good times and bad. They’re blood right???? Not always the case. Some are adopted, some are melded together by marriage of parents but, we’re still family. Such was the case with Shawn + Eddie’s wedding. Shawn being adopted and having seven siblings this was truly a blended family and one filled with LOVE! We had such a fabulous time photographing these two families coming together.

Like a said before, Shawn was adopted…out of Korea where her mother took her back to the USA (mid-west) to be exact to raise her. Just a few years ago she was re-united with her birth mother and we were so happy that she could make it to the wedding. I don’t think I caught a moment where she wasn’t smiling. We wish them many many years of happiness together.
